Georgian Aviation University has announced an open contest for the following scientific positions for our Scientific-Research Center:
Direction: Aircraft flight exploitation
Chief Research employee – 3 vacancies
Chief Research employee – 2 vacancies
Researcher – 2 vacancies
Postdoctoral student – 1 vacancy
Direction: Design and technology of flying machines
Chief Research employee – 1 vacancy
Chief Research employee – 2 vacancies
Researcher – 2 vacancies
Contest requirements:
A person with a doctorate or an equivalent academic degree who has at least 6 years of experience in scientific-research activities, special scientific achievements can be elected to the position of Chief Research Officer. In the position of Chief Scientific Officer, a person shall be elected for life (agree to pass attestation within 5 years).
A person with a doctorate or an equivalent academic degree may be elected to a senior research position for a term of 4 years.
A person with a master’s degree or an equivalent academic degree may be elected to the position of Research employee for 4 years.
A person who has a doctorate or an equivalent academic degree can be selected as a postdoctoral employee.
Interested candidates should submit the following documents:
Application for participation in the contest with reference to the relevant scientific position;
CV / resume;
A copy of the ID card;
A copy of the diploma certifying the qualification (in case of quality protected abroad, the documents required for authenticity);
Certificate of scientific-pedagogical activity;
List of published scientific papers;
Documents confirming participation in scientific conferences during the last 5 years;
Information on scientific research activities and participation in grant competitions during the last 5 years.
The contest have 4 steps:
Step I – Application: 17.02.2020 – 21.02.2020;
Step II – Consideration of relevant documentation by members of the competition commission: 24.02.2020 – 28.02.2020;
Step III – Interview with the contestants: 02.03.2020 – 13.03.2020;
Step IV – Announcement of contest results: 16.03.2020 – 27.03.2020.
