Train maintenance specialists relevant to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards. After
implementation of education program aviation specialist shall be competitive on local and international
markets and, within own competence shall assure line maintenance of structural elements, equipment,
systems and powerplant of an aircraft, A.
• Complete general education
• B2 level English language certificate or passing relevant exam determined by university
• medical document form №IV -100/A“, health certificate
Education program covers 15 profession/sector-oriented modules in amount of 67 credits. In order
for vocational student to be granted qualification in turbine aeroplane line maintenance (A1), student must
accumulate 67 credits. The vocational educational program Aircraft Maintenance (A) includes 3 general and 16
professional modules – with a total of 81 credits and an elective block of professional modules, from which
1 module must be selected from 3 modules – with a total of 7 credits.
To be awarded the secondary vocational qualification (A) in Aircraft Maintenance, a person must
accumulate a total of 88 credits. In the educational program, for those vocational students who are taking the program in an
integrated manner, it is mandatory to take additional integrated modules in the amount of 30 credits. In
such a case, the vocational educational program does not include the information literacy module. To be
awarded the vocational qualification, a student must accumulate a total of 116 credits.
Non-Georgian-speaking vocational students must accumulate 118 credits for a non-integrated
program and 146 credits for an integrated program, of which 88 or 116 credits required for a qualification
are added to the Georgian language A2 and Georgian language B1 modules (30 credits). “Passing the
modules Georgian language A2 and Georgian language B1 is mandatory only for those vocational students
who have obtained the right to study in a vocational educational program in accordance with the “Approval
of the Rules and Conditions for Enrollment in a Vocational Educational Program” Order No. 42/n of the
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia dated July 2, 2021. For these individuals, training in a
professional educational program begins with the Georgian language module.
