The program aims to prepare highly qualified and competitive professionals for the international
market whose competencies fully meet the requirements established by the Georgian Civil Aviation
Agency and EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) in the field of flight exploitation of air
transport.
- Complete general education
- Age: 17
- Class 1 medical certificate issued by Approved Aviation Medical Center.
- B2 English language certificate or passing relevant exam determined by the University.
The educational program comprises one vocational qualification in the field of Multi-Engine Piston Aeroplane Flight Exploitation (CPL(A)-SEM– Commercial Pilot License (Aeroplane)). The training process spans two academic years, totaling 135 credits, equivalent to 3375 hours. The educational program includes General Modules and Vocational/Sectoral Modules specifically focused on the CPL(A)-MEP direction. Total credits allocated to General Modules: 6. Total credits allocated to Vocational/Sectoral Modules: 129. The educational program consists of theoretical and practical components, with the practical
component involving flight training of 196 flight-hours. The educational program begins with general or vocational/sectoral modules organized in a
modular system, while the practical component is scheduled at the final stage of the program. In case of any discrepancies or conceptual/content differences between Georgian terminology used within the modules and the definitions/requirements established by COMMISSION REGULATION (EU)
No 1178/2011, the formulation stated in the European regulations shall prevail.
