Since its establishment on March 27, 1992, Georgian Aviation University has played a significant role in the development of civil aviation in Georgia by educating and training generations of highly qualified pilots and aviation professionals.

Students receive practical training using advanced aircraft such as the Tecnam P2008, Tecnam P2006T, Tecnam P-Mentor, Cessna 152, and Boeing 737-200, as well as EASA-compliant ENPT-II aircraft and helicopter simulators and specialized laboratories.
