Since its day of establishment (27 th march of 1992) Georgian Aviation University has trained numerous pilots and aviation specialists, who have made a significant contribution to the development of our country’s civil aviation. University runs Faculties of Flight Training, Engineering and Business Administration; Maintenance Training Organization, Vocational Training Centre, International Aviation Training Center, Scientific Research Centre and other facilities. The university has modern educational material-technical base that is relevant to the European standards, training aircraft: Tecnam P2008; Tecnam P2006T; Tecnam P-Mentor; Cessna 152; Boeing – 737-200. EASA-compliant ENPT-ll aircraft and helicopter simulators, specialized laboratories. Teaching is implemented in both Georgian and English languages by Highly qualified professors and flight-instructors with extensive practical experience. Worth noting that citizens of many foreign countries (more than 25) are studying at the university. Exchange programs with European partner universities are available. Our Aim is to ensure personal development of each student and forming a high- level professional. That is why the university’s graduates are always in demand on the labor market, which is confirmed by the highest statistical level of employment. Needs to be underlined that even after getting employed, graduates do not seize to cooperate with the university and pursue lifelong learning through attendance of qualification raising and/or confirming training courses, which from its side is a base for future success of the aviation sector.
