Georgian Aviation University representatives Vice-Rector Davit Tepnadze, and deputy rector for scientific field Nika Tikanashvili, took part in the award ceremony of the 2025 Student Inventors and Researchers Competition “Leonardo da Vinci.” On behalf of the University, they presented tablets and special prizes to the members of the team “Rescuedby” from Vladimir Komarov Tbilisi Physics and Mathematics Public School No. 199, who introduced an innovative model of an unmanned aerial vehicle.

The award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, Givi Mikanadze, the Deputy Minister, Zviad Gabisonia, the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia’s Committee on Education, Science and Youth Affairs, Mariam Lashkhi, and the General Director of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia, Teimuraz Dotchviri.

The University continues to support and encourage young researchers, students, and school pupils to actively engage in research activities.
