Undergraduate program “Flight Exploitation of Aircraft” is developed based on Annex 1 of ICAO’s the Chicago Convention, regulations set by EASA towards flight crew members (Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 of 3 November 2011 laying down technical requirements and administrative procedures related to civil aviation aircrew pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council) and “Aviation Specialist’s Licensing Rules (Order No. 150 of 30 August 2012, issued by the Director of the LEPL Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia) and is focused on training of qualified pilot.

Most important aims of teaching with current major are:

  1. Study of Aircraft’s flight exploitation processes and systems;
  2. Acquiring wide knowledge of the aviation sector, giving student possibility to master practical skills in flight operation of aircraft;
  3. development of competencies set by education program, complex view of events and skills for objective evaluation of processes;
  4. Training of qualified and competitive pilot in relevance with requirements set by labor market, with high sense of responsibility over flight safety and an ability to work on positions that require undergraduate degree in “Flight Exploitation of Aircraft”.
