On February 17–19, 2026, the delegation of Georgian Aviation University made an official visit to Silesian University of Technology in Poland.

The GAU delegation included: Vice-Rector Davit Tepnadze, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Vazha Kelikhashvili, Head of Aviation Quality Assurance Office Tato Lapauri, Head of the Technical Maintenance Training Center Beka Buidze.During the meetings, the parties discussed future areas of cooperation, including joint educational and research projects, student and academic staff mobility, sharing of quality assurance practices, and further development of engineering programs.

This visit marks an important step toward strengthening institutional partnership and expanding international collaboration between the two universities.
