GAU students participated in the project SPINAKER – International School of Aviation Engineering

During September 21–28 of 2025 year, 14 students from the Faculty of Engineering at the Georgian Aviation University, together with the Deputy-Rector for Scientific field Nika Tikanashvili, participated in the project “SPINAKER – International School of Aviation Engineering.”
As part of the project, practical and laboratory trainings were conducted at the material-technical base of Warsaw University of Technology. The training covered the following academic courses: Aerodynamics, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Aircraft Design. Students also had the opportunity to perform training flights using helicopter and airplane simulators owned by the university and on the glider in airport, which is located in the city of Przasnysz. All participants of the project were awarded certificates of participation, which will also be reflected in the diploma supplements of the students. It is noteworthy that the financial support for the participants was provided through the Erasmus+ program. Specifically, each student received a scholarship of €1,300, which fully covered their travel, accommodation, and living expenses.
