On April 3, 2026, the Open Day of Vocational Programs was successfully held in Batumi, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. The event was opened by the Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia – Givi Mikanadze.

   Various colleges, vocational institutions, and universities actively participated in the event, including the Georgian Aviation University, where special attention was given to the university’s vocational education programs and their practical significance.

   Such events are particularly important because:

Applicants and interested individuals are given the opportunity to explore vocational programs on site;

Awareness increases about career paths that ensure quick employment and professional growth;

Stereotypes toward vocational education are broken, and its prestige is enhanced.

   Today, vocational education is not only an alternative but a real opportunity – to gain practical knowledge, become an in-demand specialist, and most importantly, secure employment quickly.
